RELAX!

During my classes we focus a lot on what does it feel like to be calm and relaxed. This activity is a great way to provide a tactile and visual way for our kiddos to understand the differences between an active tense body and a calm and relaxed activity. 

Once each student has filled their bottle (make sure you double check everyone's cap), have everybody shake. Ask students how they feel during this noisy activity. Next have each student search for the letters that spell the words CALM and RELAX (I wrote the words on the bottle with a permanent marker for those students who struggle with spelling). How do they feel during this activity?
